Our team at Elite Dental share decades of professional experience in all areas of dentistry. We take a multi-disciplinary approach to dentistry and are supported by a hard-working administration team. Our caring, gentle and reassuring approach to dentistry calms people’s nerves and has made us the preferred family dentist in Ryde and surrounding suburbs over the past two decades.
Dr Lee Wareham graduated from the University of Sydney with honours in 1991. She has worked in the field of general dentistry since then. Dr Wareham is a member of the Australian Dental Association and is the Principal Dentist at Elite Dental.
On a regular basis, Dr Wareham visits the brain injury and spinal injury units at the Ryde Royal Rehab Hospital as a Visiting Dental Officer. She assists with diagnosing and treating at-risk patients in these wards.
Dr Wareham has a professional interest in endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and preventative dentistry. She believes that the best dental care is achieved when patients are empowered with knowledge, so that they can maintain their oral hygiene. She enjoys conveying her knowledge of dental health to her patients and ensuring that they require minimal intervention.
In her spare time, Dr Wareham enjoys classical music, gardening and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family.
Dr Jackleen acquired her Bachelor of Science Degree of Doctor in Dentistry from overseas in 1993. Following 22+ years of experience in the field of general dentistry at her private clinic, she moved with her family to Australia. Her hard work, dedication and passion for dentistry led her to successfully complete all requirements needed to be a qualified and registered dentist in Australia.
Dr Jackleen is a compassionate clinician coupled with a strong focus on ethics and high standard of patient care. She is highly skilled in all aspects of general dentistry and strives to give each patient an excellent experience, feeling like they are well looked after and receive personalised treatment in a comfortable environment. She has a keen interest in restorative dentistry; turning badly decayed teeth or missing teeth into beautifully restored or replaced ones through a variety of options, including nice fillings, crowns, bridges and dentures.
Outside of the clinic, Dr Jackleen loves travelling, painting, cooking and enjoying time with family and friends. You can also find her enjoying nature, gardening, singing and dancing. She also speaks three languages English, Armenian and Arabic.
Dr Tejas Vather received his Bachelor of Dental Science from Charles Sturt University. He has a special interest in surgical extractions, wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, bone crafting and other more complicated dental procedures. He also provides treatment under IV sedation (sleep dentistry).
Dr Vather is kind, caring and compassionate and excels at treating anxious patients. He strives to discuss complex surgical procedures in simple terms that are easy to understand and tries to make the procedure as simple and pain free as possible. He chose to spend a portion of his time providing dental care to remote communities and working with paediatric patients at the Royal Far West.
He takes pride in updating his knowledge by attending continual professional development courses in general dentistry and orthodontics.
Outside the field of dentistry Dr Tejas enjoys playing sports such as tennis, soccer, ultimate frisbee, squash and yoga. He also enjoys hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Dr Coulter graduated from the University of Sydney with honours.
She has also completed a fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS).
Dr Coulter has worked at Elite dental since 1999 and has provided complete care in all areas of dentistry.
Dr Coulter is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Royal Australasian College of Dental surgeons and up to recently The Australian Endodontic Society.
She attends many continuing education courses and is interested in expanding her knowledge. The latest course completed at the Australian Dental Association continuing education program – ITI Foundation level Implant modular course.
Dr Coulter has a keen interest in Periodontics, Oral hygiene care, Children’s Dentistry and Preventive Dentistry. She believes in comprehensive total dental care and continuity of care with all information and options given to patients.
Dr Coulter believes in a friendly warm environment for her patients. In her spare time she enjoys her family including a recent new addition, walking and the outdoors, her pets, reading and her local community church.
